Boiling Points Battle: Acetate vs Water 🌡️
AIS Zurich Year 7's are diving into the fascinating world of chemistry with hands-on lab exploration!
They conducted an experiment comparing acetate to water and were amazed by the results.
While 60 ml of acetate started boiling within just 1 minute, it took closer to 5 minutes for 60 ml of water to reach the boiling point.
Why is that?

Prague Hosts Unforgettable Model UN Conference 🌍
AIS Basel students recently attended the Model UN conference in Prague, and the experience was an absolute blast!
From committee sessions to lively mock debates and the glamorous gala, every moment was packed with excitement.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed participating in such a prestigious event and one of the students, Livia in Year 9, even had her artwork chosen as part of the 'Postcards for Peace' initiative at the conference.
Many thanks to the teachers who accompanied this memorable trip.
