Artistic Theatre
Description
In our Theatre club, students discover different roles, situations, states of mind and learn to move to music. They also learn the basics of theater (including expression, facial expressions, voice, body position/gait, focus), improvise, and rehearse and perform short sketches. In this way, our students learn performance skills and increase their self-confidence. A performance will take place at the end of the school year.
Course instructor
Céline Saxer teaches German at Academia International School. Playing theater and expression has long been her passion and she successfully led the university theater group during her studies. Ms Saxer would like to pass on the joy of theater to the students and encourage spontaneity and creativity.

At Academia International School, the electives are included in the school fee. To ensure that this remains the case and that the course instructor can put together an attractive programme, the following rules apply:
- At least 6 participants are needed to run a club.
- If the number of participants is limited, places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
- Your registration is binding.
- In case of cancellation at short notice, we reserve the right to charge a contribution towards expense.
